Emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) from penetrations in external floating roofs are contribute significantly to the total emission on a tank storage facility, For operational reasons these openings can not be avoided and should be covered in the pursue of our zero emission goal.
To bring emissions down to acceptable levels, these openings can be best sealed with our emission covers. We have solutions for support legs (leg seals and leg socks) and for avoiding emission on slotted gauge poles (guide pole cover or guide pole sleeve)
These combined solutions significantly redudce the emission from exernal floating roof tanks, without having to revert to expensive emission control measures.
